I remember going in to this shop with my mum many times in the early 50s and seeing the money being put into the tubes which went round the shop on a cable. Also I remember behind the counter like a lift system of black tubes. Where the tubes were all side by side. Lloyds bank was next door.
I would love to see an old photo of this shop.
Its sad that all the old pitsea has gone now.
