It should be an interesting meeting. The only time purchase of a city hall has potentially appeared in City minutes of monthly meetings was on 3/31/26.

A motion was made, after an Executive Session, for the Mayor "to take all necessary action to secure long term viability for city operations".

By extreme extrapolation, that could be stretched to cover a potential building.

The council could not have legally discussed the building during the Executive Session.

There will clearly be a number of citizen questions at the meeting. If the council stonewalls its citizens (again), there may be little option to pursuing the questions in a more formal setting.
