With the exception of Andy C, I've outlived most of the people I used to ride with/know through biking. Only one died in an accident, the rest have been cancer or heart issues.
My wife died some 18 months ago. Last year, I decided I might as well try to enjoy my remaining years, & bought another couple of bikes. Only to have (minor) medical issues which mean I don't feel confident riding anything larger than the ANF125, & even that some days is out of the question.
Hopefully physio sessions will slow down the Osteoarthritis & mean I can carry on biking for a few years.
