830 quid for a roller starter. I should be able to use 2 bikes more often once it arrives. It is going to save more wear on the leg bones and cost is a lot less than a replacement knee.
This worn knee is much different from the one i had replaced 20 years ago. I have no pain standing on it and walking. The pain comes in when bending it for stairs etc so leaving that joint alone for now.
Biggest disadvantage of this chronic osteoarthritis is lack of sleep. I have a fully electric bed to get in a good position ,take 1 tramadol and 2 gabapentine and i normally get 5 hours good sleep but get awake at 6am each day.
Still lucky i can ride around and walk though as i see so many people my age sitting in the electric buggies or on walking frames.
