In the scheme of things and the comfort of life are Pubs really so important to you? Lots of pubs outside London if you can't live without beer,and if you can't,you maybe have a problem?

Moving out will add years to your life, it has mine I had chest problems but clean air and removal of stress is theraputic.
Also I stopped drinking beer,can't stand the stuff now.
