As the osteoarthritis decided to have a day off, took the '98 ZX-9R out for 'exercise' before weather got too hot and the roads busy. FUN!
Back late morning, thought as I was on a roll, would do final checks on the 2000 FI Blackbird before the MoT Tuesday. Ah, the rear light (LED item fitted by PO) has stopped working. Brake light does, but not the r/light. Rattle the connector block around & spray with contact cleaner. Ok, it works.
Decide to start it up just to make sure all's working with the engine running. What is this flashing red light?
Look on the OC site, something to do with the fuel injection. count the number & length of the flashes to find the problem...
Turned it off & back on again, problem has gone away - for now.
