Took the ZX-9R over to Halfords, the long way round (40 miles, instead of 4). Lot of caravans ect. Bought VHT black paint for the ANF's downpipe on the new exhaust I'm fitting for the MoT next month.
Unwrap the exhaust - ah, it's already painted. Guess another couple of coats won't do any harm.
A quick rub down, wipe over with surgical spirit, & the original coating started to disappear. So the VHT paint will not be wasted after all.
