I always get a little depressed every year when insurnace is due - all the time you have to spend using compasrison websites, or even on the phone.

This year was pretty good, CN did both the Speedmaster and Himalayan at a good rate, the AA who we have all our cars with reduced all 3 premiums to an average £15 more than last year (done by a very quick and efficient phone call).

So called Multi car policies are a con, the cost of insuring all 3 was ridiculous.

Have the KH insurance to do, best quote including recovery (small print checked) is £65, but forget who that was with as not checked the quotes for a while. KH is currently with someone called "Grove Dean" who have a very poor reputation - they also wanted £120 to renew this year.

Renewed the house insurance yesterday, again a phone call to the Halifax reduced the renewal premium by just over £40 making this years premium £19 more than last year.

All done / dusted for another year, apart from the KH.
