There are still a lot of people enjoying the cars and the runs as i do but it is the high values that have come down a lot. This happened in the early 90s when people were buying MK 2 and E type Jaguars for investment. That lot all got burnt fingers as the market suddenly dropped.
If i have to stop riding due to my feet being a bit useless, i might get a classic car but no earlier than a 1960s. I quite fancy a Humber sceptre 1725 with the 5 bearing crank. Always like d them in the 70s but did get the chance to have a Sunbeam Rapier convertible for a short period and a drive in a later 71 Rapier fastback. The Rootes cars had nice interiors and came pre-rusted out
