It's disappointing finding the snags, and I have been. Brake caliper bolts that required a breaker bar to crack them, only to find the threads were covered in copper grease. These bolts are supposed to have dry threads when torqued up. If they're lubed, too much torque can be applied resulting in stretch at best, or stripped threads. Same went for the front wheel axle spindle. It needed a breaker bar. I suspect a tyre place grunt had been let loose on it - do it up nice and tight with no idea of the correct torques to apply.
