My doctor that does my race medical has been making me have a lot of hospital checks recently as my heart rate is very low. So far I have had various tests including two main ECG's 24 hour monitored ECG. Heart ultra scan. Blood checks etc etc. Today was my final meet up with the top Cardio doctor. Went through all my results and told me I was fitter than him and can't believe how good my heart is and how fit I was for my age. While I was with him he dictated a letter to my doctor explaining all this to him adding that He can see no reason that I shouldn't be passed fully fit for the 2025 race season. Big relief for me and can only hope I now get my 2025 licence to have at least one more year on the race circuits. His last question to me was, do you drink my reply was yes every day at least 3 pints and wine with my meal his answer was good for you keep doing what you are doing it sure works for you. He also told me to carry on with the men's doubles badminton that I play. One very happy old rocker who is now looking forward getting back on the race tracks.
