Ha! I'm glad to see I fit into the great tradition!

I've only recently sold my 1984 R100ST (a bored out 80ST). A fantastic bike that, if I were going, I'd be happy to trust around the world.

But, the V Strom just made it pointless for me. If I were to tour there would be no question I'd take the Strom over an old Boxer. Mind you, if the AJS18S turns out to be reliable I might be tempted on a gentle, longer excursion next summer.
