It is probably unfair to lay the "blame" with our generation, but the called "ruloing elite" and or organisations / individuals that did not like the way the country is / was.

Of course the internet also a great enabler for anyone with different views to express an opinion / change people viewpoints.

No doubt that increasing wealth has made life easier for many, by the same token the great divide between haves and have nots have made it worse for them.

We could probably discuss this for ages - not much else to do on a day like today, but no doubt over the generations things have changed a lot.

I dont understand the current generation, it seems so easy to say something un offensive, but it is taken as a personal attack because it is not PC or in line with current "accepted" thinking.

Thinking back to when I was part of the younger generation, Dad would sometimes say stuff that anoyed me, but we would talk about it and agree to disagree, these days it seems that saying something that is not "correct" is taken way too personally.

Times change, guess it is me that has not....
