They do have an unfortunate reputation. Bad news spreads further and faster than good news. However my KTM has been absolutely fine (just crossing my fingers I'm not tempting fate).

I'm amazed they hadn't learned from other peoples mistakes and went ahead & bought a majority shareholding in that world champion money pit MV Agusta.

I suspect long term KTM will survive because they are owned by Pierer who in turn are largely owned by the large prosperous Indian industrial giant Baja
