Certainly to some extent thankfully, none of the big parcel deliverers (Amazon, Evri, UPS, etc.) actually deliver here, they hand over to local contractors in Inverness or one of the towns along along the southern Moray Firth coast. Then certainly some of those local contractors actually live 'round here; certainly in my case, if no-one in, parcels are left in a shed (not locked), under the barbie, in a car (not locked). My place is 1/4 mile from the nearest road, two miles from the nearest village, no chance of a neighbouring sheep or passing eagle nicking a parcel. Sometimes something to be said for the nearest human only visible in the distance.
