Does anyone else get sick and fed up with people on the TV constantly telling you what you should eat, do, think, or what how they battled and won various things that life has thrown at them?

Most of these people offering advice are so called Celebrities.

There was some bloke banging on about something this morning (cant remember what it was) so I just switched channels - other half came in and asked why I had turned the TV over, when I explained, she got the hump and said I was always complaining about TV.

So is it just me that is fed up with the constant stream of "advice" being given to us via the TV, so called "chat" shows are another one that pi** me off.

Yes I know there is an off button but my other half is a bit of a telly addict so it is hard to avoid.

As for this morning, finished my breakfast and went off out to the cabin to work - out here I just have my work computer and Radio 4 for company.
