When I moved to Wessex nearly 40 yrs ago I lived in a tied cottage with a bore hole 90ft deep which supplied the whole estate,the taste of that water was a revalation, and combined with milk straight from the dairy made outstandin cup of tea. When I bought my present cottage it was because as well as land I have my own water and sewage system. Meanwhile Thames water are constantly discharging pure shit into rivers like the Kennet.

I am very fortuneate that apart from certain basics I can, and have done, fed myself from my own land, I keep chickens, can shoot rabbit, pheasant, duck, deer if I feel the need, thats why the knuts in charge want to exteminate the likes of me.
