Anyone got any bike related traditions for 25/12 or 1/1?
Weather & knees allowing, I'll be out on either the 'bird or the Ninja, taking advantage of the low traffic & Plod count. This 'tradition' started many years ago, when my wife was alive. Lynne did not like me under her feet when cooking, preferring the company of CD's of Xmas songs. As I'd spent years working in retail, I'd been hearing Wizzard, Johnny Mathis etc all & every working day since November...
So I'd take a ride to & around the Malvern Hills, also doing some of the Morgan Cars test/demonstration route. Couldn't do it last year - the Osteoarthritis had kicked in badly, as I recall.
As I don't make a big thing of drinking NYE, usually do the same thing on the 1/1. That started because the weather was awful one 25/12, & I'd missed out on the ride.
