My Skoda also has a satnav but I found I couldn't trust it ... long story short, trip last summer I happened to be running it alongside a Garmin over familiar roads, the Skoda satnav was coming up with really weird routes (turn off motorway to parallel single-carriageway road to next motorway junction; turn off motorway to adjacent roundabout, go 'round roundabout, rejoin motorway; etc.). Familiar with route, easy to see the mistakes but means the Skoda satnav simply can't be trusted with an unfamiliar route.

Unless VAG are now using Google Maps (like e.g. Volvo), while they might've improved their satnav algorithms since my Skoda was new, your car's will still only take you to the middle of a postcode area.
