The ones at the local station here had no lids and oil everywhere. They used to do a 10 mile ride and then check who was missing on return. Then, into the Wimpy bar for a milk shake. Nearly every bike was a pile of shite but that was the 60s here. Much better once the mods took over the Wimpy bar and the scooters would not leave oil behind. I just wish i had some pictures of it from back then
