Great picture Jerry, I don't now if it's a genuine RGS in the centre or a Goldie behind it , but they both have the clip-ons well down the stanchions, my back certainly wouldn’t be able to deal with
that position any more.

Good you are o/k on the race bike Jerry. I still enjoy riding the Goldie with the clip-ons in the correct position, but I no longer want to ride it hundreds of miles in one go. As we both arrived on the planet in the same year, I don't think we are doing too bad.

The ones at the local station here had no lids and oil everywhere. They used to do a 10 mile ride and then check who was missing on return. Then, into the Wimpy bar for a milk shake. Nearly every bike was a pile of shite but that was the 60s here. Much better once the mods took over the Wimpy bar and the scooters would not leave oil behind. I just wish i had some pictures of it from back then
