I first saw The Ace in 1973, a tyre depot. The best cafe in the area was just off North Circular at Staples Corner. Cafe was under the arches.
I remember the bike cafe at Watford just off M1, but it was a Little Chef then. Went to Surrey with Dad's mate in his Riley 4/72 & he remembered going there in his youth when it was the Busy Bee.
From memory the Ace opened partially mid-late 1990s in part of the tyre depot.
