Yes, I get that. This is the very bike I didn't buy when it was brand new, but snapped up 4 1/2 years later when it was up for sale.
I've had it since May 2017, so only 2 years short of the time I owned my CB500 for. That was an excellent bike and only went when I'd bought the Sprint.
I considered a new BSA Gold Star 650 - no test ride as I was over 70 - or the Triumph 400. A ride on the Triumph was most impressive, but I didn't click with it.
Now I just think I want to get my old BSAs back on the road. The two A65s will be easy enough, the A10 needs a sludge trap check, so not too bad & the B25T (that was a non-runner after a "professional" rebuild for the previous owner) was a rough as a badger's **** when I got it running.
