Took the Morini out again this afternoon, another 40 miles so confident it is fit for "duty". What a lovely little bike it is, absolutley thrives on revs, and it is so smooth no real vibration to speak of. The double disks up front take some getting used to, dare I say it is over braked, but you get used to not squeezing the lever too hard. The dry clutch is also a bit snatchy but again you get used to it. Tomorrow is the turn of the KH, as I now have it insured. Only been a very short distance on it thus far but the clutch whine seems to have gone now which was one of the aims of the second rebuild. Starts and runs just fine and the home made cans have that lovely stacatto sound. Tomorrow I find out if the carbs still "talk" to the expansions with the new cans. |
