Morinis and Kawasakis

Took the Morini out again this afternoon, another 40 miles so confident it is fit for "duty".

What a lovely little bike it is, absolutley thrives on revs, and it is so smooth no real vibration to speak of.

The double disks up front take some getting used to, dare I say it is over braked, but you get used to not squeezing the lever too hard.

The dry clutch is also a bit snatchy but again you get used to it.

Tomorrow is the turn of the KH, as I now have it insured.

Only been a very short distance on it thus far but the clutch whine seems to have gone now which was one of the aims of the second rebuild. Starts and runs just fine and the home made cans have that lovely stacatto sound.

Tomorrow I find out if the carbs still "talk" to the expansions with the new cans.

Who needs a signature anyway......

Enjoy Andy I also hope to be out tomorrow but have been down with a terrible cough that seems to be doing the rounds. I am never ill but this one got me mainly through lack of sleep and aching ribs through too much coughing. Weather tomorrow looks as good as todays so I will be out my big 1300 Yam and I hope without heated gloves and grips. When summer finally gets here we will have to arrange a nice meet up half way ride.

It was summer gloves and lowest setting on the hearted grips for me this arvo. So much salt on the roads!

No heated grips today for me but still had the winter gloves on.

Roads were all nice and dry.

Tomorrows forecast is better than today, so hopefully same where you are.

Hope you get over the cough soon, and yes a meet up at the mid point would be good - reckon Stonehenge / Popham area, can sort something out nearer the time.
