There are plenty of the younger generation who are interested in bikes. Locally a lot of them ride 125s to get to college or work 'coz the rural bus service is so poor. There's also a lot who ride in MotoX, Enduro or trials because in the rural area there's places & clubs to do it.

The problem for the bike industry is all the youthful enthusiasm is killed by the cost of getting a licence so many young riders never progress beyond CBT.
