Hi gang, firstly I would like to thank all that sent me get well and mend soon messages it really helps. At least now I am home but far from fit. Still not sure what happened but eye witness told me bike stepped oud and threw me up in the are and I bounced down the circuit. Seems my new tyres just didn't grip and I sure wasn't going fast. I have had many years on a race track and know how to bed tyres in. All I remember is waking up in the medical centre then being rushed to Coventry hospital for body scan. results not good 6 broken ribs broken shoulder blade and hand plus a punctured lung. Body bruised all over so seems I made a good job of wrecking myself. bike badly broken with engine cover damage plus. cant see me getting back for a while so have to mend me first then start on the bike hoping to find no more big problems. Early days yet and I'm really struggling to sleep. At least my son got my van and bike back from Mallory so everything home now. My plan is to try and get back in May or June but think it's going to be a long slog. w ill update later.
