Everybody seems to be shopping on Saturday, and the traffic is worse than during the week.
Back in `the good ole days` here, the shops closed at 12 noon on Saturdays, not opening again until Monday. But now they are open until 9 PM most days.

Near Christmas, some stores will stay open 24hours. And people will still complain that they need more time to do their shopping.
