The biggest collection of the cameras now sit on all approaches to the Exeter hospital where there are virtually no accidents. Many are at bus lanes now although very few buses using them.
I do keep to speed limits in these built up areas as i dont need to rush anywhere now.
1000 speeders in 7 days is very high for a small area of Exeter and now they are beginning the 20 mph zones in the side streets, that brings in more mobile cameras.
I have been lucky only being caught this once in 56 years riding.
What will happen more is that motorists may be concentrating more on camera spotting than watching whats in front of them.
Den, we like tourists here really as they often go home with 3 points and a 100 pound fine for the memories.
Exmouth is now refurbishing the town centre and all the sea wall work has been done at a cost of about 20 million pounds. For some reason, the scheme to prevent sea water getting onto the road included taking down a 2 foot high wall so the sea gets in much easier. I wonder who thought that up as most of the defence was raising walls and now all the sea water will just go in this lowered area and run along the roads into town.
