Not sure whether that photo has been "manipulated" something not quite right about it.

Possibly a "colourised" black & white original image ? Seem to be quite few WW! & WW" B&W images around that have had this treatment and they also look rather artificial. Maybe Ai generated as well.

There seems to be an obsession with "fast" these days, which requires "big" and "powerful" machinery to accomplish - the press would have you believe that touring on less than a litre bike isn't possible. Touring with what you have got regardless of size & choosing routes / daily distances to suit the bike is an equally valid way of doing things.

First trip abroad for us was two-up on a Suzuki GS425E, but on the campsite at Grimaud at the South of France there were two German guys on Zundapp 50s. A couple of years ago on a site at Caldonazzo in Northern Italy a group of Germans on MZ 250s arrived while we were there - all about using what you have & sod current "fashions". Didn't look to be having any less fun despite using "inferior / unsuitable" bikes !
