Some houses have black gutter around here but the sun turns it grey after a few years. A common trend is now the fitting of black or grey plastic windows. I like white ones though.
My windows are now 30 years old and i have seen my neighbours replace plastic window 2 or 3 times in that period. I bought the best windows available back in 1996 and they have no faults yet. I lubricate the hinges and catches every 2 years.
Its strange seeing people taking out good plastic windows and fitting another set of plastic windows that look the same
