Another insurance tale

Aviva Zero - my daughters car.

My Daughter just wanted to renew her policy as the premium was very competetive, but she needed to change her email address.

Not easy if you cannot access the account, so she raised the issue umpteen times with them, oh yes valued customer blah blah blah, we will sort it.

A week later despite more emails still cannot access the account.

This evening Daughter sent a "final" email to them, basically fix it or I go elsewhere.

About 1/2 hour later we get a call from them, paid the premium and they assured her the policy would be emailed immediately.

An hour later, still no policy emailed, still cannot access the account.

Had it not been for the very competetive premium she would have gone elsewhere - next time she will.

By the way, they dont have a contact number, they are only contactable via the web, oh and one other thing, their live chat does not work....

Wonder if this has something to do with their premiums being so competetive.

Who needs a signature anyway......

Live Chat was one of the issues I had with Wiserchoice (Europa). It either didn't work, or would freeze when it did.
Non insurance live chats I've used with utility companies & others have been slightly better

. End up trying to explain your problem to a bot, who after several tries transfers you to a person.

Can your daughter still access her old email. My provider is VM, so my main email is theirs, but I still use my BT email even though I've not been with BT for around 5yrs

Jimmy cant access the account with the original email or the new one.

At least the policy docs have been mailed now.

Who needs a signature anyway......

Be wary of "Live Chat", last time, the woman said she would have to put me through to her superior, who somehow got his assistant to milk $800 from my bank account although we were talking about my internet access with my provide, not about money.
The bank managed to recover the money because I was suspicious and rang them as soon as I hung up the phone.

I was reading on the Interweb that it is impossible to insure any of the new LANDROVERS, so much so that the price has of them has dropped ,and peps are losing money especially if on HP

Well if they cannot be insured then nobody would buy them. Yet I see many of them on the roads . How can this be?

Other opinions may be available but this one is always correct.
