There were lots of A&E candidates out on Sunday on their superbikes. Most seemed disgruntled more potholes had appeared since they last rode (August Bank Holiday 2024).

One good thing about having "regular" riding routes is that you become accustomed to where the pot holes are, and you can also see how the roads deteriorate each winter.

On my evening ride I came accross my first "smoking" car of the year windows wound down and that unmistakable sweet smell coming from the windows along with clouds of smoke, no probs if someone fancies a "smoke" but FFS not when you are driving.

Oops, sorry, forgot, no one gives a shit anymore.

Who needs a signature anyway......

The usual sunny day rumble of HD's on their way to Revs Hog Shop down the road, & a variety of other bikes going through the village. Frustrating, as been sticking to the Innova 125 up for a while due to health.
Did manage to move the Blackbird from the front path (where it's been for a month

) to the car park. Might try a quick run down the Morgan test route later this week.

Andy, I used to cycle past traffic queues in Bristol 15yrs ago. At 7.30am I reckon 20% of that great city of culture was stoned on the way to work

I try and stay away from bikes on the weekend as the area is packed with tourists coming to see the seaside. My ride is mostly the same routes each time so i know every surface. Not fallen off since 1979 and hoping not too.
