I was looking at my engine a few days ago and noticed this aprox 5/8 black hose from the back of my carb...'67, 283, 2 bl carb. It attaches at the back bottom, goes out passenger side, and then looped behind the engine. I decided to pull on the tube and it come out ...not attached to anything. Is this hose supposed to be attached to the trans? I had the trans worked on last year. Help! What is it for?
