It wasn't my intention to "challenge" you on the tachometer redline, and I apologize for causing any ill feelings...my Z24 also came from the factory with the wrong tach! But I will 'try again' with the oil pressure: I'm assuming you engine was running because the tach was showing one grand; in which case the gauge should be up around the 3/4 mark.
