I have available two complete clocks from a '68...one made by General Time; the other by Borg. The 'faces' of both are pretty good (only one knob), but the back plates of both have some rust (the G-T is better). I converted my original clock to quartz more than 40 years ago with a kit from JC Whitney...accurate, and never had a problem! Keep in mind though, that the 'tell-tail' difference between the original and the conversion is that the sweep hand moves smoothly on the quartz unit..."jerky" on the original.
