I have been away from the boards for a few years, have come and lurked around a bit but have refrained from posting.
Those who may remember will recall I had the rusty L72 4-speed convertible '68 project. I had made some serious headway on completion with the help of a lot of people on this board and then a life roadblack got in the way, a protracted divorce saw the car locked away for nearly 4 years.
Fast forward to today, I once again have the car in my possession along with all the parts and tools. I currently am torn between completing the project and just selling what I have and letting a new owner finish things off. The reality of not having my awesome shop to work in and lots of mixed emotions about the car are the only real reasons that make me think of parting with it.
If someone may be interested please let me know, I can be reached at bobthecarguy@hotmail.com
The car is currently a virtually rust-free body sitting on a restored frame, complete ID code #439 427 engine with date correct 840 heads, Winters intake, rebuilt 12 bolt with 3.73 posi, lots of rechromed parts, tons of extra parts. Much elbow grease required but everything other than seat covers and brakes should be there.
Thanks guys!
Bob
