Aha, but I bet you could order L36 without Z24, which would give you the same as what you got in Canada. But since the 2+2 package is similar to but not the same as Z24 (SS), no chrome in Canada.

In Canada for 1969 the 2+2 was actually a different model, not a trim level on the Parisienne. Sort of how the SS was a model on its own in some years.
