Yes Glenn, I fixed my 68 tach. If you look at the circuit boards, there are 5 connections: 1 ground to the back plate, 1 12v+, 1 coil trigger wire and 2 wires that go to the meter movement. All 5 just plug into the contacts on the new board. This new circ board also has an adjustment to calibrate the meter. I hooked up the tach on my bench to a spare distributor and also to a dwell/ tach meter and spun the distributor with a drill. They were both pretty much exactly the same rpm. Don S
