My friend has a 1967 Impala convertible . It has a VIN that only has 12 digits and of course the letter for where it was made. People are telling him it is bogus. It should have one more digit. Is this true. The VIN is " 16867L114388. That is taken of the VIN tag. How does this decode and should there be more numbers? Morley
