Nick,,, I bent up a pair of these some years back for my car. They looked exact from the actual photos(very rare)that I've seen from back in 69 or so of factory tailpipes. I've only seen two good photos of original 69 L72 tail pipes. Only thing needed was a half angle cut at the exit. Maybe your boy can find a Huth or Ben Person system and bend a pair up,see what you think. Very excited and anxious to see your car on the road again,,I'm sure it's a major item off your bucket list. Like to see a story or feature in a Super Chevy or like publication ,,original owner,Chevy Master Tech, ordered and checked in at the dealer you worked for,owned and and restored 50 years later,same owner,,pretty dam cool as far as I'm concerned.
