I'm not sure how the well string pulls out. My only concern was to not accidentally pull it out. That would have required a call to the doc that I wouldn't want to make. Its like a tampon string. I hate to tell you, but if you don't stop being a camel, this won't be your last stone. You can be put on a drinking schedule if that's what it takes. Where are you, BTW. I got most of my experience with nephrolithiasis (kidney stones)in the Sonoran Desert in Tucson. Kidney stones are common in desert climes.
