While I'm sure your reason was a part of it...though I believe a small part of it..the money and exposure thrown at her from all sides by going to Cup to me was the biggest reason(s).

As far as Sonoma...I believe she did get roughed up but she was still running near the back when it happened. Even in Indycar I remember her CC saying that at times she's afraid to get in there and mix up...esp on restarts. Now in her defense in Cup...some guys are going to go out of their way to rough her up.

Time will tell...but I still say if you took a driver from Nationwide...that finished where she did in most of the races last year...put them into the ride she has this year...with the results..so far. I doubt they'd be around next season. But she will be and a guy like Newman is gone. I'll cut her some slack the rest of this season...but she has no more mulligans come next season.
