It was easy for Nascar to get Newman in by docking the 50 points for all 3 MWR teams. I get that. But Jeff still go jobbed by the situation. As the end of the race played out I was begging for Gordon to dump Truex. That would have righted his ship and Newman's. Oh well. Hope Clint doesn't think he's actually going to finish the first couple of races. Hope Newman goes on a tear and wins this thing. I imagine he'll have all of SHR best people behind him. And hopefully Stewart's pit crew after his post race comments.
