if you put Jeff Gordon in, you take out Joey Logano who did not cheat or manipulate the race in any way. His team would be penalized for doing nothing unethical. However, if you want to say add Gordon and remove Bowyer then I might go along with that. Hard to punish Bowyer's team so severely as to remove them from the chase considering how high up in the standings they were. I hate it for Jeff Gordon because I like him and I think he totally got screwed out of his rightful spot in the Chase. I credit NASCAR for doing all that they did and they reacted harshly and correctly. I think they wanted to get Jeff in but couldn't find a way to do it without penalizing someone else that wasn't involved. (Logano and Penske Racing)
