I agree....the chase is moronic and these stages too turned me off. But their big mistake was the way to long races for today short attention span. Even the NFL and MLB have done as much as they can to speed up their games. This starting the racing at God knows what time....and the dumbest thing...these night races going to 1am. I cant believe how empty the tracks have been too. They lost to many veteran drivers vs how many younger ones poured in. The past few years havent been good....Gordon...Carl E....Dale Jr.....Tony...Biffle....MattK...JBurton.ect are all gone along with alot of their fans that have little interest in some young kid or the Busch brothers. And the drive for the cookie cutter tracks was big turn off for me. I actually watched and really enjoyed the Indycar race on Sunday...and they said its growing again. Well everything goes in cycles....see what happens.
