Well its better to find something early than later. And it is very hereditary as my uncles had them too. What everyone has told me who hasn't gone is they fear the prep...not the actual procedure or if they did find something. Yea the prep sucked....but as you said...cancer is more of a b###h. My buddy did go at 50 and they found cancer but it seems his didnt spread outside of the colon. But they did remove parts of it and he did get chemo. So far so good. I hope John can try something that gives him as much time as possible.
