Ola, thought that maybe people should know. I was swimming in front of Cocuna bar/restaurant next to the campsite, around noon yesterday. Suddenly, there was a crocodile head about 10 meters away from me, looking at me with the heady eyes. Needless to say, it was not a very comfortable sighting. I ran out of the water with the pounding heart. Too close for comfort.
We watched in with binoculars as it swam across the bay towards the Boca. It was big, about 8 feet. We told many people on the beach and I told the crocodile people at the laguna. I understand the sightings are perhaps common but this was very frightening.
