We were at Bahia Azul Restaurant picking up a meal for Tilín, and saw the cooks making meatballs. Belén (the owner) said she sometimes makes them from fish -
albóndigas de pescado- fishballs! We said we would love to try them sometime.
She later arrived unexpectedly at our house with these amazing delicacies bathed in a flavourful broth, complete with tender potatoes, carrots and calabasita.
The fishballs have a delightful light texture, and the broth is rich with just a hint of spice. Stunning! What a beautiful and tasty gift, thank you Belen!
We think the kitchen at Bahia Azul is making some amazing food this season!
