2023 was a year of transition for La Catalina Foundation. Donaldo Ponto, excellent and charming Director of La Catalina for the past 5 years, left in January to take on a position with the Four Seasons Tamarindo Resort. We were blessed to have Grace Briseño join us in July as director and were sad to see her leave at the end of 2023. Her organization and care has La Catalina set for a successful 2024.
As much as we will miss Grace, we are excited to announce that
Estefanía Carranza has joined the La Catalina team as the new Director of LCF, effective this week.

Estefanía (pronounced Estefaneeya) is keen to learn all the workings of La Catalina and is excited to meet the students and the sponsors and friends of our organization.

Drop in Spanish classes will begin this week and continue into the spring.

Thursday:

Intermediate 10:30-12:00
Advanced 12:15 - 1:45

Tuesday:
Beginner 10:30 -12:00
Intermediate 12:15 - 1:45

Cost: 150ps per class

These classes provide an opportunity to practice speaking Spanish, to ask questions and to increase your knowledge of the language in a relaxed and fun atmosphere.
